Baba Bulleh shah was a sufi saint who attained Knowledge of Soul & Supersoul. When our soul get ready to move toward supersoul in our body it start attaining skills like poetry,playing instrument, in that stage BABA bulleh shah has written poems after uniting soul to supersoul once, this experience make someone true Yogi,true Mystic, One of the Hymn is with translations

उलटी गंग बहाइओ रे साधो, तब हर दरसन पाए ।

प्रेम दी पूनी हाथ में लीजो, गुझ्झ मरोड़ी पड़ने ना दीजो ।

गयान का तक्कला ध्यान का चरखा, उलटा फेर भुवाए ।

उलटे पाउं पर कुंभकरन जाए, तब लंका का भेद उपाए ।

दैहंसर लुट्ट्या हुन लछमन बाकी, तब अनहद नाद बजाए ।

इह गत गुर की पैरों पावें, गुर का सेवक तभी सदाए ।

अंमृत मंडल मूं तब ऐसी दे, कि हरी हरि हो जाए ।

उलटी गंग बहाइओ रे साधो, तब हर दरसन पाए ।

Meaning of poem : Our Breath has tendency to go downward from Nose toward stomach, but by practicing meditation we can make this flow opposite , opposite means instead of going downward this breath will move upward from nose toward forehead and brain. This breath which known as prana is very powerful when it goes opposite direction then with it Our Soul, Kundalini power also moves and it come out with the flow of breath and get union with supersoul in brain. This stage can be attained by love only, in this love spiritual journey one should be disciplined and devotional, then only this stage can be witness, one should try to attain knowledge from the wise learnt one, from scriptures from the company of sages,saints and then he should practice this and perfrom meditation whcih will bring control on breath and breath flow will turn opposite. This kundailini which is sleeping like kumbakaran in our body then it will walk toward brain and will reveal the secret of attaining bliss,self realization,supreme abode, contentment & Samadhi. Attaining this union our inner ears hear some celestial music but this music can be hear in stage when we are nor sleep,nor awake,nor in dream, in vedas this stage is known as Turiya avastha, so they say like lakshman in ramayan story got unconscious, like that seeker when turn unconcious in meditation,he hear celestial music. Then baba bulleh shah says this all stage can be attained when we follow discipleship and truly pay homage to our Guru by surrendering in his feet. Also practicing this path we attain Nectar on our tounge and we merge with Supreme and turn like Supreme , We attain qualities like supreme which are peace, contentment,bliss, Ananda.
